Lincoln University, PA—At every HBCU, Election Season is one of the most eventful weeks of the year, and now it’s just around the corner. It’s not like Spring Fling or Homecoming, though. It’s a week filled with student-based programs and initiatives for students by students. This year’s campaign week falls on March 31st – April 3rd, and seeing students prepare, interview, and advocate for themselves is very exciting!

There are positions that vary from Class Board, Executive Board, Mr & Miss, Senate and so much more. The creativity that comes from students who are campaigning for these positions are impeccable. Students are very excited to promote themselves and lay a foundation for student leadership for next semester.

We have insight that the Mr. and Miss Lincoln pageant will be the most competitive it’s been in YEARS. It’s also very exciting to see the creativity and impact being restored to our campus community by the Class of 2027. These rising seniors are elated to show everyone what they have to offer, and I’m excited to not participate and watch.

Tune into this year’s campaign season by meeting the candidates, Q&A Debate, and official voting on April 3. Make sure to follow each position to see which candidate is best for your needs as a student, and what you’d like Lincoln’s Student Leadership to look like next year.

Make sure you attend Meet the Candidates on Monday, March 30, in the SUB Atrium! You won’t be disappointed.
