Have you heard of Project 2025? Project 2025 is a plan aimed at changing and reshaping the U.S. federal
government’s policies and structure. At first Project 2025 was just idle chatter. However, now it can
potentially become our new reality with the presidential election on November 5,2024 resulting in the win
of Donald Trump.When Donald Trump is inaugurated on January 20,2025 his first order of duty will be
putting project 2025 into work.
The project 2024 proposal is a detailed blueprint for a future conservative government— it highlights the
removal of federal institutions and public policies. One of the many goals is to give the executive branch
the ability to easily hire and dismiss federal employees through reclassification. This is significant
because it will replace federal government employees with civil servants instead of politically aligned
appointees. This is intended to ensure federal agencies are able to implement conservative policies
effectively without resistance.

Project 2025’s plan will;
- Eliminate abortion rights.
- Removing the Biden administration’s climate policies.
- Limit resources and protection for the LGBTQ+ community.
- Eliminate federal funding for reproductive health services.
- Eliminate the board of education.
- Transfer control of schools to the state.
- Removing head start for parents.
- Cut social welfare programs.
- Cut Medicaid and food assistance.
- Reduce federal spending through tax cuts and tariffs.
This plan has sparked some controversy because people believe that this plan is Trump’s own personal
agenda,that could remove democratic checks and balances, weaken civil rights, and prioritize corporate
interests over public welfare.
