Ziana Fashion Club Inc. Annual Midnight Show: The Michael Jackson Experience

Written by: M’Kiyah Jordan

Lincoln University, PA—There has always been a friendly debate and competition on which on-campus modeling organization puts on the best show. Well, that competition has officially kicked off on Thursday, March 12th, when Ziana Fashion Club Inc. held their annual midnight show inspired by the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, led by President Cache Brister (senior).

Last week’s show was exciting, impressive, and truly brought the full Michael Jackson experience alive, which was very appreciated by many students, alumni, and faculty. Ziana Fashion Club’s tribute to the King of Pop was unforgettable.

Senior, Ahmad Brisbane, took on the role of Michael Jackson and delivered an outstanding performance during Remember the Time, Thriller, Lady of My Life, and so many more segments. The show also recreated more iconic moments, including the dance battle from Beat It, which energized the crowd.

They also showcased elegance and beauty during the Liberian Girl segment by highlighting many of their models. The audience was thrilled and even spooked by the chilling and well-executed Thriller performance. The show concluded with a smooth and iconic tribute to Smooth Criminal, leaving the audience impressed from start to finish.

Ziana put on an incredible show overall. As “The Original Runway Destroyers,” the oldest non-Greek letter organization on campus, Ziana Fashion Club Inc. lived up to its name and absolutely dominated the runway.

Everyone is eager to see who will be performing next.
