Ziana Fashion Club members took the stage at Manuel Rivera Hall last night for their annual midnight show for Homecoming week.
“Ziana killed the show,” said freshman Tondalayla Goodman.
Ziana models exuded sex appeal and confidence. Some of the ensembles included black and gold spandex bodysuits, white evening gowns, and business casual menswear. Aside from the runway walks, they had a variety of choreographed routines and a couple of solo performances that allowed certain members to shine.
“I am very excited to see the new members and old members collaborate,” said junior Kiara Jackson, a choreographer and model. “We’ve been working very hard all night and all day. The longest practice we had was from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m.”
The show also included fashion clubs and models from the surrounding areas. Cheyney University’s fashion club had created a routine for the show, along with the D.C. modeling agency Model’s Inc.
The Ziana’s are already anticipating for next Homecoming so that it can be an even bigger and better show.
