Last night The Lincoln University Lions rallied together to bring home their second straight win on their home court with a score of 89-79. The Lions were led by freshman forwards Deaquan Williams and Jordan Camper, both who recorded double-doubles helping the Lions to a win. The two were amongst five Lion players who scored double figures for the team. Overall, they exhibited a team effort in last night’s win shooting 43% from the field even though they were out rebounded by Clarion.  Alongside Williams and Camper, guards Sean James and Gevon Arrington added a double figure scoring for the team. The Lions shot 67% from the free-throw line while Clarion only shot 51%. This is where the clear divide in ability was shown. With several of the Lion’s players scoring in double figures last night, the team tallied a season high consisting of 14 assists due to each player on the court contributing to victory. Now with their second straight win the Lions are making their comeback, they now improve to a 3-2 overall record and look to continue riding the hot streak.
