The short film debuted in 2011 at the Slam Dance Film Festival, but recently it has been the topic of every Twitter feed, with memes circulating and Facebook discussions blowing up. The storyline follows the Johnsons, an upper-middle class African-American family. Sydney Johnson, the father and husband, is a well-known author. Joan Johnson, his wife, is a housewife. In an episode, the President of Georgia A&M Dr. Eva Fletcher’s daughter Sydney Fletcher was sexual assaulted by the football team quarter back Terrence. The assault was unknown until a student on campus security guard leaked the video. The guard's reason for doing so was because the school security often over looks situations involving sexual assault on the campus. By Michael Howard To kick off 2017 Spring Fling week, the new Mr. and Miss Lincoln, Tomell Harbison and Nile Garner, serving for the 2017-18 academic school year has been announced. The pageant consisted of five amazing contestants who battled each other in three rounds (the auditory, talent round and the question round) to win the crown. The contestants were Nile Garner, Tamarrin Johnson, Chinonye Agu, Jarrel Strong and Tomell Harbison. In the end Harbison and Garner took home the title of the Mr and Miss. Lincoln. The pageant was hosted by last years’ winners Kendall Gilbert and Janaya Joyner who did a great job representing the University at nation wide pageants, in the classroom and even just everyday social life while interacting on campus. By Karanah Knight Brooklyn Nets held a “Biggie Night” on the anniversary of the legendary rapper’s death. March 9 marked the twentieth anniversary of the death of Christopher “Biggie Smalls” Wallace. The Brooklyn Nets Basketball team association held a night called “Biggie Night” at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Biggie Smalls’ mother Voletta Wallace along with his widow Faith Evans and their two children were in attendance.   By Onika Palmer Drake’s “More Life” has gotten mixed reviews, fans and critics believe it didn’t speak to their soul, is this the begging of the end to the Drake era of music?
