SACNAS REACHES LU CAMPUS

by Jamila Jacob   One of the greatest elements of college and campus life is the opportunity for holistic student development within all programs and fields across an institution. This academic year, the Lincoln University campus has seen the formation of a new organization, the SACNAS chapter. The chapter, whose acronym stands for Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS), has been introduced to the campus to give underrepresented STEM students the chance to maximize their college careers through various activities.    These include leadership programs, and the annual National Diversity in STEM Conference.
