University Delays Grand Openings of KFC & BRB

By Keyarnna Davis   Lincoln University students have been anticipating the grand opening of vendors Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) and Be Right Burger (BRB) in the Thurgood Marshall Living Learning Center Cafeteria. However, the openings of KFC and BRB have been delayed from their anticipated March 18th grand opening due to delayed health inspections and Oxford fire marshal approval. Two New Eateries Coming to Lincoln’s Campus

By Jocelyn Haslon Lincoln University students will have two new dining options in less than a month. During its Feb. 11 meeting, Student Government Association Vice President of Internal Affairs Nobuko Maybin announced that the venues, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Be Right Burger, will open on March 18 inside the Thurgood Marshall Living and Learning Center. Both venues will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. While the national fast-food chain KFC may be known by most, the other venue, Be Right Burger, is based in Reston, Virginia, and specializes in hamburgers.  According to the company’s website, customers may select from several hamburgers on their menu, or chose to “build” a burger, using a beef, vegetable, turkey or chicken patty as the base.
