SACNAS REACHES LU CAMPUS

by Jamila Jacob   One of the greatest elements of college and campus life is the opportunity for holistic student development within all programs and fields across an institution. This academic year, the Lincoln University campus has seen the formation of a new organization, the SACNAS chapter. The chapter, whose acronym stands for Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS), has been introduced to the campus to give underrepresented STEM students the chance to maximize their college careers through various activities.    These include leadership programs, and the annual National Diversity in STEM Conference. Freshmen: The Change In Advancement

By Cedric Sealy This fall 2017 semester proves to be a season of major population growth for Lincoln University. Currently, there are almost 700 newly enrolled 'Lincolnians' walking around our campus since August. This new addition of fresh faces has brought Lincoln's total enrollment figure to nearly 2,400 students. The change in the campus population has also changed the status quo of the campus. Freshmen are now able to live in dorms which were traditionally for upperclassmen, causing Juniors and Seniors to now reside in the Studio Green housing complex in order to accommodate all the students.
