Lincoln University Launches New Strategic Plan LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – Lincoln University announces its new strategic plan, “Reimagining the Legacy: Learn. Liberate. Lead.” The plan, which has been approved by the Board of Trustees, calls for a focus on student success through reinvestment in the University’s roots as a liberal arts institution. New Vice President for Student Success Named 

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – Experienced administrator Dr. Lenetta R. Lee has been appointed as the new dean of the college and vice president for student success, President Brenda A. Allen announced.Lee, currently dean of students and associate vice president of student affairs, was promoted to this position in March. LU alum Eric Webb discusses novel tonight on radio show

This one line best sums up Eric Webb's newest novel titled "The Garvey Protocol," which Webb will discuss on 1Essence Radio at 7 o'clock tonight. To listen show streamed live, go here. The book is fiction but draws on real events, such as the Atlanta child murders and America's War on Drugs. In his book, Webb poses the question of whether these events were a direct attack on the black community, specifically on black men. On the radio show, Webb said he will discuss his writing career and his journey as a writer in the hopes of inspiring others. Eric Christopher Webb, a 1991 Lincoln University alumnus, is the new Interim Director of Public Relations and Communications.“As the President says, I am the voice of Lincoln University,” Webb clarified with a smile. LU’s Dry Campus Policy In Full Effect

By Ericka Blackwell          Ten students were sent home for violating the dry campus policy on Lincoln University’s campus by the end of the  second week of the 2012-2013 school year. Capt. James Conner, Assistant Director of the Department of Public Safety, explained that three out of those ten students were suspended on night of Tuesday, August 29. In the Student Handbook for 2012-2013, starting on page 30, it states that Lincoln “expects all students to comply with the policy of an alcohol/dry campus. No student is permitted to possess or consume alcohol on the campus of Lincoln University.” The policy goes on to state that as soon as alcohol is found on campus, open or closed container, there is an immediate interim suspension preceding a judiciary hearing. Lincoln University Welcomes New Public Relations Professional

 By Cerella Ferebee Lincoln welcomes Scott Miller as the new Director of Communications and Public Relations. According to CubstoLions.com, Miller has experience with working with media relations and was the manager at Ottawa University in Ottawa Kansas.   From 2004 to 2007 Miller was the community relations manager and Sports Information Director at Norwich University in Vermont.  Picked out by a search committee of faculty, staff and one student representative, Miller now is excited about his new position at Lincoln. “Well, the things that I enjoy at Lincoln are that it’s a rich unique institution.
