New York Fashion week is one of the hottest events in the Fashion World. Fashion Week is the time to get a head start for all the upcoming spring trends.
Spring is a time to shed the dreary winter coats and opt for a more colorful wardrobe.
A hot trend repeating from last spring is Color Blocking.
Color Blocking is a fun way to mix and match vibrant colors, such as red, purple, turquoise In order to master this trend, the key is to use three vibrant colors, (use more than three and the look becomes overbearing.) As a start, try mixing two colors together, such as teal and purple
According to Glamour Magazine, some of the fashion week trends that will be in clothing stores include, wild prints
The last trend that was prevalent on the runways is pastel colors. Try and add light pinks and blues to your wardrobe, since pastels will probably go well into summer fashion as well. The site Miss Selfridge has a good selection of pastel colors.
Also look for the Bohemian theme to a huge them this trend this spring, with flop hats, flared high-waist jeans and floral maxi dresses. The bohemian look is in stores such as Free People and Forever 21.
It also looks like Capri pants will be making a comeback this spring, as many designers incorporated the look in several of their pieces.
