Eating Well

Students will no longer need to wait to have healthy food choices. The Wellness Center is now open to students and more food options. The new additions include a sushi bar, Starbucks, and two more other facilities that provide healthier alternatives for students to eat. “[The goal is] to provide the campus community with more options, specifically, a variety of healthier options,” said Jena Williams, The Food Service Director of Lincoln.

The recent overcrowding of the campus’ dining hall has caused a push for more options for students to eat without having to spend personal money. The wellness facilities are part of the student’s meal plans. Students do not need to utilize campus-generated money of “flex dollars” which has a spending limit. Students should be ready for this major change in food choices.
