Ajamu Davis

My name is Ajamu Davis and I am a 20 year old student majoring in Mass Communications at The Lincoln University (PA). I am also known as Prince Charming, The King, and one of God’s most gorgeous creatures. More importantly, I’m someone who is extremely excited about travel tourism and where I will end up visiting in future months and years. To begin with, I believe that everyone should experience new cultures and lifestyles at some point in their lives. I’ve always held an interest in other types of customs and practices so traveling is definitely a topic that intrigues me. But, unfortunately, I haven’t had the pleasure of traveling to many places within my lifetime.

I’ve been out of the state to visit destinations that include Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, New York and New Jersey. I’ve lived in Philadelphia for the entirety of my life, and it’s become quite a bore. The way I see it, I’ll be financially satisfied in the years to come and be able to embark on trips out of the country and all around the world.

The city of Los Angeles is a mandatory stop that I must make this summer. I see myself as more of an “LA Prince” than a regular guy from Philly. The culture, the lifestyle, the environment, it’s just perfect. So many people complain about how expensive it is to reside there but I’m very confident that I’ll be the prominent figure that I aspire to be. Needless to say, I’ll be able to afford it.

Other than LA, I would like to visit Tokyo, Puerto Rico, India, Georgia, and The United Kingdom. I listed these places because I’ve seen movies, shows, and documentaries that have drawn my attention towards them and made me think to myself “Wow, that looks dope.” India, for example, is a place that I don’t really hear people talk about traveling to. I think this would be a really cool place to visit from what I’ve seen and heard in all types of media.

Something I’ve learned that relates to tourism is to be cautious of your surroundings and to do your research on your destination before you pack your bag and go. There are things that every tourist should know before they visit somewhere. I’m extremely optimistic about what my future in travel holds, and hope I can start my journey as soon as possible.
