According to The Lincoln University’s Academic Calendar for the 2016-2017 school year, midterm grades for the fall semester were to be submitted on October 10. Many students have taken their exams between October 3 and the 7; also listed on the University’s Academic Calendar as Midterm Week. "It's good to see my grades and gauge where I am, if I should work harder or stay consistent," says Elisha Hall, a transfer junior at The Lincoln University. By Onika Palmer According to Complex, three teens were arrested for wearing clown masks and carrying a fake gun while hanging around Babies”R”Us in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Since early October, there have been a large number of clowns creating mayhem for citizens in New Mexico. KOB says these teens "made an incredibly poor decision following in the social media trend of 'Clown Spotting.'” The Albuquerque Police Department did not report to the scene until they were called by onlookers who feared that the three masked teens were participating in a possible robbery. by Averri Glenn Jérémie, Haiti, was severely damaged by Hurricane Matthew on Oct. 8, 2016. According to NBCNEWS, the death toll has rose past 800, left villages underwater and hundreds homeless. Being the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, Haiti has struggled to rebuilt after continuously falling victim to natural disasters for the last decade. Hurricane Mathew was a category 4 storm with more than 120 mph winds that has left Haiti devastated. Many of the areas with severe damage in the south were completely cut off from rescue squads by collapsed bridges and fallen phone lines.
